A rare find
The Von Schierholz porcelain factory was founded in 1817 in Plaue, Thuringia, Germany. The factory produced high-quality Dresden wares and is best known for porcelain decorated in the Rococo, ornate Meissen, and Art Nouveau styles. This type included gilding, applied leaves and flowers. In addition, the company is also known for decorative lithophanes and beer mugs with high collector's value.
