In 1872, August Alboth founded a porcelain painting workshop in the city of Coburg
known as Porzellanveredelung August Alboth. His son - Ernst
moved the factory to Kronach. Ernst Alboth's heirs changed the name
of the factory to Porzellanfabrik AL-KA Kunst Alboth & Kaiser.
It operated in the years 1928 - 1951.
From 1951 to 1970, The Porzellanfabrik AL-KA Kunst Alboth & Kaiser K.G. existed.
Beautiful utility porcelain AL-KA is known and liked by collectors.
