MZ Austria signature with a double-headed eagle from 1884-1909.

The porcelain factory in Altrohlau was founded in 1810 by Benedict Haßlacher.

The next owner Augustin Novotny developed the production and distribution of

porcelain by opening branches in Prague, Vienna and Pest.

The MZ Austria signature began to be used in 1884, when the company was bought at auction by

Moritz Zdekauer Bank.

Signature on saucers, milk jug, sugar bowl and jug.

Snow-white, thin-walled porcelain decorated with gilding.

A nice, polygonal shape of the vessels.

Very good condition with a minus for minor traces of use

and abrasion of gilding. (19th century porcelain)
