Rare find: Vintage from the 19th century.
Pirkenhammer is known to have produced fine porcelain for royalty throughout Europe, as well as for the papacy. One of the most beautiful sets was produced in 1915 for Pope Benedict XV. Pirkenhammer won a bronze medal at the 1835 Vienna Fair in 1835 and a gold medal in 1839. Christian Fischer's many achievements earned him the prestigious position of one of the Fair committee members of 1845.
